Lafreniere scored a goal and added two PIM in Monday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings. Lafreniere has found the scoresheet in all three games so far, collecting two goals, two assists and six shots on net. He's off to a great start while playing alongside Vincent Trocheck and Artemi Panarin on the second line. Lafreniere broke out with 57 points in 82 regular-season contests in 2023-24, and he looks poised to do at least that well this season even if he remains confined to the second power-play unit.
