Kreider scored a power-play goal on two shots, added two PIM and logged two hits in Monday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings. Kreider redirected a Mika Zibanejad shot into the net at 17:05 of the second period. That goal stood as the game-winner. Through three games, Kreider has scored a goal at every strength (one each on the power play, shorthanded and at even strength) while adding nine shots on net and four hits. The winger offers upside in goals, power-play points, shots and hits as a physical two-way forward on the Rangers' top line.
